And that’s weird. I know a Mine-soota accent when I hear one, and that’s because no one talks like that in the northwest. When I was deep in southern California years ago, I had people who were obvious southerners ask me if I was from England. I suspect that’s closer to the truth – but I don’t expect I’d fool a real Englishman for a second.

Sniff! Those colonials, putting on airs again.
